Chapman and Mr. and Mrs. George W. Brown, who also had as their weekend guest their granddaughter, Miss Dolly Smith of Washington-, D. C. ■Miss Jean Brown returned to Richmond on Sunday night after a week-end visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maury W. Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Jones and children of Alexandria were guests on Sunday of Mrs. Perle Coffey. Miss Karen Jones, who spent last week in the Coffev home returned with her parents Sunday flight. Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey. Jr. and son went with Mr. and. Mrs. Robert Nethers and family to Elizabeth Furnace, where they enjoyed a picnic.
Miss Edna Yates Schaefer spent several davs last week with Miss Barrie JJaves of Warrenton.
Elder and Mrs. C. W. Miller, who have returned from a ten-day visit in Martinsburg and Shepherdsfown, W. Va.. had as their guests on Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Pet> Dodson of Chattanooga, Tenh.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Green of Warrenton and Mrs. Lilv Dodson were dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Atkins.
Mr. and Mrs. I.ester Tv. Yates and daughters, Janet and Lois, motored to Barrows Run, Sunday, to attend all day services at the Primitive Baptist Church. .

Elder J. H. Daily, assisted bv Elders Philip Johnson and Clarence Frazier, conducted the last Wres for the late Mrs. Robert Thornton on Saturday afternoon at Bentonville. Airs. Thornton was a Mi.ss Hartley, a former resident of Rappahannock Countv. On Saturday evening Elder and Mrs. Daily and their house guests were supper guests of Air. and Airs. Osie Carpenter at Brightwood and later attended a service ar Robinson River Church, conducted bv Elder Tolbert of Ala.
