The Rappahannock Civil Defense Control Toiver will conduct an assimilated alert exercise at. approximately 11:30 a.m. Friday, [April l/fth. i ! As the make believe “Alert” is received at the center, sirens in Washington, Sperryville, Castleton, Amissville and Flint Hill will give the “Alert Signal” (steady blast orf 3 to 5 minutes)
This exercise is being held ip conjunction with the sixth annual Natioal Civil Defense training exercise. The local exercise is to determine effectiveness of our signalling system and to learn the time required to do so. The public will not be expected-to participate.
The following Rappahannock Schools have been asked to conduce a Civil Defense Exercise: Washington, Sperryville, Flint Hill and Amissville. ,
