The marriage of Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Arthur Miller of Washirgton, Virginia, and Lt. James Stewart Willis, Jr., U.S. Army of Fort George Meade, sort of General and Mrs. Willis of Ridgewood, N. J. was solemnized ^ Saturday afternoon, April the fourth, in Trinity Episcopal Church, Washington.
The Rev. John R. Frizzell a! Annandale, former rector of. Trinity Church performed the ceremony at four o’clock in the afternoon. Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jj^. organist, played the nuptial music and wedd i n g marches and accompanied Mrs. Jo Ellen Crane, who sang Av£ Maria and the Lord’s Prayer.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a wedding gown of white chiffon taffeta, fashioned with off-shoulder neckline and long full skirt.. Her floor-length veil of illusion fell from a Juliet cap‘of lace and she carried an arm bouquet of white and pale pink roses centered with a white orchid. The bride wore as her only ornament a diamond and pearl sunburst . pendant which had belonged to her grandmother, the late Mrs. John J. Miller.
Mrs. Douglas Rodney Webb of Gainesville, Ga., sister of the groom, was matron of honor and Miss Katherinp Anne Hammer of Harrisonburg, maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Mrs. .Rob
