at Virginia I Beacli. With the theme “4-H Meets the Challenge of Conservation,” the camp this year provided many opportunities for growth for Judy Faye Lillard of Washington, Va„ Judy Kay Lillard of Flirjt Hill and Mark Harris, Huntlv, and) for leader, Mrs. W. A. Gentry pf Flint Hill.
Each camper was expected to cooperate and contribute as much
as possible to camp jlife. Human Conservation, or the respect for human values were hot the least of subjects! studied. ; . Classes in Forestry, Wildlife, Soil and Water Conservation, Control of Insects arid Roidenfs, friendly competition between tribes and ocean swimming anted the full week of activities. Members of the Extension staff from V-P.I worked at the camp under j the leadership of Jack Tyree, State 4-H Director.
