In Front Royal Ij worked in the worst down-pours seen (praying all were getting them at home). I was soaked-but it surely felt good.
Yesterday Arthur and I stopped by Herbert Foster'^ packing house. After eating a peath, of course I got my fingers sticky and said to M r. Foster, “You Certainly should have some paper napkins.” Said he, “Excuse me, Mrs. Miller, but just look around those baskets there and you'll findjail you want.” Sure enough* theije were napkins.
Saw Louise and Katie Anderson in Culpeper! today Arent’ they nice people ? Only wish that I could see morq of diem. I never see Louise that I don't think of Enid Chelf Kirk. Youi remember her, don’t you ?
