The diagnosis and control of venereal disease has been a big project for us this year. With the help of a specially trained venereal disease investigator known cases of venereal disease are brought to clinic or to their doctor for treatment. These cases are interviewed for their contacts who then must be located, blood tested, and kept under supervision until their disease status is determined. Seventeen patients have been seen in our venereal disease clinics and some have elected to be treated by their own doctors. Approximately 60 blood tests have been taken in our attempt to locate and control this menace.
