Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Settle retunned to their home in Parkersburg, W. Va. Tuesday after spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Settle.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spalding had as their weekend guest Mrs. Mary Hudson of Richmond^
Capt. William Weiner was a luncheon guest Friday of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller at Washington, Va. Saturday Capt. Weiner left for Harrisonburg where he was the guest for a few days of Mr. and Mrs. James Conrade.
Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore and Mrs. Mary Krause entertained at a buffet supper yard party Sunday afternoon. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Louis Moore and family, Mrs. John R. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sours and daughters of Leonia, X. J., Mr. and Mrs. Isiah Hoak of Luray, B. J. Wood and Dudley Wood.
Mrs. Mary Krause, Mrs. W. A. Moore and Mrs. Emory Russell attended a bridal shower in Front Royal Wednesday night, given in honor of Miss Barbara Baggarly.
Mr. and Mre. Charles M. Sours and daughters of Leonia, N. J. are spending a few days with Mrs. John R. Moore and family at Rock Hill Farm.
W. A. Moore, Jr. will enter Pierce College near Los Angeles, Calif, on September 12.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell of Lynchburg, Kenneth Howell of Washington, D. C. Kurt Jepson and Ernest Wyatt of Norfolk.
The Methodist, Official Board will meet Friday, September 9 at Flint Hill Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m. All members are urgpd to be present.
