Heart Association Meeting
The Culpeper-RappahannockWarren Heart Council will meet at the Culpeper National Bank in Culpeper, Va. on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. All members are urged to be present. All persons interested in the work of the Heart Association are invited.
Revival At Sperryville
Methodist Church
The Sperryville Methodist Church will have revival services beginning Sunday night, September 18 and ending Friday night. September 23 at 8 p.m. each evening. The Evangelist will be Rev. Reid W. Diggs, Jr., pastor of Riverton Methodist Church in Riverton, Va., which is in the Winchester District of the Virginia Conference. Brother Diggs graduated in 1959 from the Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, Ga., where the pastor of the church, W. A. Jester, graduated in 1958. Brother Diggs is married and they have one child. I
Everyone is invited to come each evening of the week of September 18 through 23 to hear the messages. Special music will be presented at the services.
Nixon - Lodge Rally At
Harrisonburg
Virginians for Nixon and Lodge will be addressed by Congressman , Richard H. Poff at the Rockingham County Fair Grounds near Harrisonburg, Va. on September 9, 1960. Prior to the address, a chicken barbecue will be served. Tickets are $1.25.
The Veterans Band is also scheduled to give a concert.
