Weds Mr. Bolyard
The marriage of Miss Joyce Nethers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson ^ethers of Sperryville to Lowell E. Bolyard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Bolyard of Aurora, AVest Virginia, took place Sunday, August 28 in the First Methodist Church of Charlottesville at 4 o’clock in the afternoon with Rev. A. D. Goodson performing the double ring ceremony. Rev. Goodson is a former pastor of Rappahannock Charge.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white ballerina length gown of late over net taffeta. Her fingertip veil fell from a matching headpiece of pearls and she carried a wlhite Bible topped with a white orchid.
Mrs. Larry Bplyard, her sister’s only attendant, ^vore a pink ballerina length gow’n of chiffon over taffeta and net wiith a matching headpiece. She earned a bouquet of blue carnatiops.!
Larry Bolyard j acted as his brother’s bset man.
After a short fvedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Bolyard will make their home in Solon, Ohio where the bridegroom has a teaching position.
