Youth Group Meeting
Our Youth Group met Sundaynight at the Washington Baptist Church and enjoyed a very interesting meeting.
A panel of college students who were Carolyn Turner, Lynchburg College; Judy Hawkins, William and Mary College; George Davis, III, and John B. Browning, University of Virginia; and Dudley Wood, V.P.I., discussed the pros and cons of such issues as small school vs large school; working vs attending college and they answered many questions asked them by members of the Youth Group. It was a great help to those of us who plan to attend college next fall.
Since we did not have a business meeting, our group is still without a name for the present.
Next week’s meeting will be at the fire hall in Flint Hill at 7:30 p.m. Transportaton will be provided from the Washington Baptist Church between 7 and 7:15 p.m.
