UNDER AND by virtue of that certain deed of trust dated^ the 2nd day of April 1956, recorded in theClerk’s Office of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 65, page 40, from GERTRUDE WILLIAMS GRAY and GEORGE W. GRAY, both in their individual rights and as wife and husband, to the undersigned trustee (s), there having been default under said trust and the beneficiary thereof having directed execution thereof, the undersigned will, at th- hour of

On Saturday the 17th day of September, 1160 in front of the Court House at Washington Virginia, sell by way of public auction for cash U t: e highest bidder the land covered by said dee ; of t t, the same being further described as follows:

THE FOLLOWING described tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Jackson Magisterial District. Rappahannock County. Virginia, being in the center of the lands owned by the late Charles S. Williams at the time of his death and bounded and described as follows, according to a plat and survev made by Johir^ Boldridge, Surveyor, on April 16, 1953, as follows, to wit:

LOT NUMBER 2: Beginning at E. in the plat, an iron pipe driven in the north line of the right of way of the Lee Highway, No. 211, a corner to Lot No. 1, thence with the north right of way line of the Lee Highway, North 87<> 30’ West 4.49 Chains; to F. in plat, an iron pipe driven in the said north of the said Lee Highway, a corner to Lot No. 3, thence with Lot 3 North 14o West 3.22 Chains; to G. in plat, a point in aforesaid Amissville and Waterloo Pike (19 links from an iron pipe driven in the south east side of said pike to make this point) a corner to Lot No. 3, thence with said Pike, North 69o 45’ East 4.33 Chains, to H. in plat, a point in said old pike, (29 links from an iron pipe driven orbthe south side of said pike) a corner to Lot No. 1, thence with Lot No. 1 South 14o 30’ East 4.92 Chains to the point of Beginning and containing 1.75 ACRES.

THIS IS the same tract or parcel of land acquired by Gertrude Williams Gray and George W. Gray, from John A. Williams etals, by deed dated April 28, 1953, and recorded May 23, 1953, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book 59, at page 332.

REFERENCE is hereby made to the aforesaid deed and to the will, deeds, and surveys and references made therein, for a more complete and accurate description of the tract or parcel of land hereby conveyed. TIME OF SALE: The hour of 1:00 P. M., E. S. T. 2:00 P. M. D. S. T. Saturday, 17th of September, 1960. PLACE OF SALE: In front of the Court House, Washington, Virginia. TERMS OF SALE: Cash with a 10% deposit at time of sale and balance upon tender of Special Warranty deed. Purchaser must assume taxes for 1960.
