(Come October 12 I will have experienced it for twenty years.) Oops! there goes my age again! Guess there’s just no way of getting around it. Me and Jack Benny.
Anyway, already some of the maples are coloring and every gum tree has at least one red branck. Think the gum in front of Sam Riley’s is the first to announce autumn. It always has one colored limb earlier than any of the rest.
Which brings to mind that the chinquepins will soon be ripe. For a restful day away from the toils of everyday living, try a little chinquepin hunting. It will do wonders for you.
