A funeral service was held Monday, September 19, from Washington Baptist Church. Rev. J. Harry Lau, pastor of the Church of the Brethern at Browntown of which Mr. Burke was a member, conducted the serv ice, assisted by Rev. Warren Wilbur of Washington Baptist Church. Interment was in the Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Conklin, Jack Ashley, Charlie Menefee, William Roberson, Bee Judd, Carrol (Iregg and John P. Snead.
