They said it couldn’t be done_ but we did it! RCHS reopened on Tuesday, 14th, after another week of sno-li-days. Our biggest news this week is the fact that we are going to school.
Fortunately we managed to sandwich our exams in between snows so report cards are out today. Guess that’s good news and bad news for some. . Mrs. Moffett is still welcoming any magazines with good educational articles in them.
The basketball tournament is to be played at Osborne High at Manassas instead of Madison as previously reported. Dates are Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week, weather permitting, I guess.
In basketball, we have a busy schedule this week. We played Handley Tuesday, and I might add, we lost—-both boys and JV. Wedne sday we played Nokesville. Our girls won—-boys lost.
Don't miss the Sock Hop which will be held after the ballgame with Madison. It is sponsored by the Junior Class and* is the first one held this year.
If you see Taylor Updike buzzing around town these days looking real pleased, it’s because he has just gotten his driver’s license. The Annual committees are wry hard at work—redoing the layout of the yearbook. It seems they had too many pages, and not enough money.
