Letter
In answer to the card which Aubrey Keyset found tied to a balloon in hit orchard and mailed back to the sender in Pennsylvania, the following letter was received by Mr. Royser this week.
Dear Aubrey,
The card you returned to the Edgewood Boro Building may be the fartherest one returned. Will you please return the enclosed post card. On it I would like to know the distance between your hometown (Washington) and Pittsburgh. Thank you.
The “balloon derby”, as it is called, is at the beginning of the playground season. This year we sent up over 250 cards. The person who sends jthe card, and the person who returns the card from the fartherest point will receive $5.00 each after the deadline of October 31st.
