Harrison Powers, our State 4-H champion sheep shearer, will leave for Indianapolis the latter part of August to compete in the National Contest, which will be held at Perdue University. Awards are college scholarships: $300, $200, and $100.
Through the cooperation of Tex Telson, Manager of Henchmans Lea, your county'agent coached Harrison in shearing this week. If this year’s National is like that held last year. Harrison will need lots of practice. Contact me if you have sheep or lambs to shear.
