Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Quaintance, Jr. entertained Saturday evening with a bird dinner at the parish hall in Washington. About fifty guests were present.

Dinner
Mrs. T. C. Lea entertained the Washington Bridge Club at Bertha’s Diner for a turkey dinner and all the trimmings last Thursday night. Afterward they played bridge at Mrs. Lea’s residence with Mrs. E. M. Jones winning high prize, Mrs. G. H. Davis, Jr. traveling and Mrs. N. F. Moffett, Jr. consolation. Others playing were Mrs. C. T. Bruce, Mrs. J. G. Cargill, Mrs. D. J. Carr, Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. J. R. DeBergh, Mrs. N. H. Massie, Jr., Mrs. N. T. Moffett, Mrs. H. L, Smith and Mrs. Frank Spalding.
