The Reverend and Mrs. Willliam A. Jester were called to North Carolina due to the death of Mrs. Jester’s uncle. They left Wednesday afternoon, and will return to the parsonage in Flint Hill Friday or Saturday.
Mr. Robert Massie of Richmond, Virgipia was a week end guest of his mother Mrs. Frank Spalding and Mr. Spalding. D. W. Kendrich of Front Royal also was a Saturday supper guest of the Spaldings.
G. W. Smith 111 of North Garden was a week end guest of his mother Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr.
Mrs. Wilbur Davidson and daughter, Carol, of Arlington were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr. They were joined by Peter Davidson from William and Mary College.
Mrs. Edna Moore was hostess to the Flint Hill Bridge Club at its regular monthly meeting on Monday night. First pribe was won by Harry Lee Smith; traveling prize by Mrs. Earl Edmonds; bingo by Mrs. J. S. Browning and consolation by , Mrs. Emory Russell. Others playing were the hostess, Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs.‘L. B. Burford, Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. James Massie, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. Wallace Russell and Mre' G. N. Smith, Jr.
