Mrs. Verner Resigns From Town Council
Due to ill health, Mrs. A. M. Verner has resigned from the 'Town Council or Washington, Va. According to Mrs. Wallace H. Critzer, Mayor, mo replacement has been appointed.
Warren Fairgrounds

Work will begin this freek on improving the Midway at the Warren County fairgrounds for the coming year. The ground will be leveled off by heavy equipment so that more amusements and rides can be added. The Wright Construction Company of Strasburg, Va has been awarded the contract. The fair will be held September 3rd through 8th.
