Oscar Stringfellow Oscar William Stjingfellaw of Amissville died at his home Monday, January 29, following a long period of illness. He was 71. Son of the late Frank Wflliam Stringfellow and Fannie Corbin Stringfellow. he was a native of Culpeper County.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl E. Stringfellow; five sons, Rov L. and Thomas of Amissville, Robert D. of Greenville, Oscar Le of Culpeper and' Charles E. Stringfellow of Southampton ; four daughters. tMrs. Ned Stringfellow, Mrs. William Glascock, Miss Ella Stringfellow and Miss Lillian Stringfellow, all of Amissville.
Also surviving are 14 grandchild, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl 'Hansford of Culpeper and Mrs. Rosi| Graham of Washington, D. C., find a brother, Jesse Stringfell otv of Amissville.
Funeral services were held January 31 from Geest Funeral chapel with the Rev. John B. Hodge pastor of the Amissville Baptist Church, officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were W. P. Grimslev. Odell Bache, Dutch Grigsby, Walter Spicer, Russell Spncer, William Pickett, Thomas Glascock and Henry Hansford.
