Although Rappahannock has had a County Agent since the days Sam Preston was in office, (Jan. 1924) people are still rightfuflly asking . . . “What are you doing, anything?” This week’s (Jan. 22-25th) activities will be as good as any to report on.

Monday—Apple Tree Pruning at the Harris’, peach tree pruning at Wade H’s, apples at Stokes and both peach and apple trees at Jerry Jenkins. Miles traveled 80; Six telephone calls. Attended Flint Hill Sr. 4-H meeting.

Tuesday—Four telephone calls, four office visits, prepared and made Broadcast at W.C.V.A. Visited Tom Broyles, Mgr. Northern Piedmont Elec. Co-op re-RAD and Roy Heltzel re-high cost Rappahannock Consignments to Feeder Pig Sale. Wrote 30 recommendations for lime and fertilizer based on soil tests. Received four additional soil samples. Traveled 56 rrflles.

Wednesday — Took half day leave. Two office visits,
