Applications for the Selective Service College Qualification Test to be given on April 17 are now available to college students at the Selective Service local boards, jhe State Director of Selective Service for Virginia announced today.
The test will be given at more than 500 colleges in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the Canal Zone.
Scores made on the test will provide local boards with evidence of aptitude for continued undergraduate and graduate study. The scores will not of themselves determine eligibility for deferment, but are considered with other information by the boards in determining whether to defer individual registrants for further study.
Applications for the test mus be postmarked no later than midnight, Tuesday, March 27. Eligible students may also obtain information about the test from any local board.
