In the ladies race, the Mount Salem, Mrs. B. H. Murray riding Lotus III claimed the cup. Second was Hill Tie tvith Miss Poppet Robinson up. Redmond, ridden by Miss Lee Greenaway came in third.
In the Young Entry, Puiple People Eater ridden by Becky Sowers placed first; Roan Ranger with rider Charles Ross was second and third was Emily Smith on Brownie.

Piping Bess won the Mary D. Slaughter. Second was IHarkimel and in third place, Zacin.
Rose’s Castle won the Colonel Richards Memorial with Better Win in second place. Blue Request came in third.
The hound race, one of the most enjoyed, had 52 bounds from 14 entries. The winner was a post entry, “Rowdy” belonging to Jimmy Gibbs of Madison. Taking second place was “Zero”, entered by Doris Coughlin of Castleton and owned by Thomas Williams, also of Castleton. “Fiddler”, entered by Charles Hitt, Jr. of. Castleton took third place. All in all it was a very close finish.
