OBITUARIES
Mrs. W. E. Duncan
Mrs. Mary Juliette (Maine) Duncan of Amissville, wife of the late William E. Dulncan, died Monday, March 5, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, following a short illness. She was 78.
Daughter of the late Thomas Richard Latham and Mary Ellen Corbin Latham, and a natiye of Rappahannock County, Mrs. Duncan was a member of Amissville Baptist Church and the Baptist Women's Missionary Society.
She is survived by a brother, T. W. Latham of Viewtown; a foster daughter, Mrs. Margaret Emerson of Falls Church; five nieces, Mrs. Mary Miller Payne and Mrs. Frances Doyle of Amissville, Mrs. Ann Carder, Culpeper, Mrs. Virginia Smith, Washington, D. C. and Mrs. Corrie Miller, East Hampton, Conn.; three nephews, J. Richard Latham of Amissville, and Walter and Richard Latham of Viewtown; also a number of great-nieces aind great-nephews.
A graveside funeral service was held Thursday, March 8 at Amissville Baptist Cemetery, the Rev. John B. Hodge officiating, assisted by the Rev. A. C. Walker.
Pallbearers Were Graham IHackley, Thomas J. Smith, Jimmie Dunn, W. L. Payne, Walter Latham, and Richard Latham.
Arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors.
