Attend Camporee
Saturday and Sunday, June 9th and 10th Boy Scout Troops of the Two Rivers and Shenco Districts engaged in a camporee at Caroline Furnace near Luray.
On the agenda for the two-day outing was a contest, “Treasure Unlimited,” songs around a camp fire. Indian dances, skits and on | Sunday morning, church service.
Attending from Troop 64 of Washington, Va. were Page Moffett. Philip Kuhn, Skippy Giles, Sam Snead, Bobby Weakley, Milton Gore, Ronny Hawkins, Roger Hawkins, Ned Moffett Jones, Jimmie Jenkins, Frank Moffett and Tr C. Lea, Jr. who acted as their leader.
From Flint Hill Troop 36 attending were Charles Corder, Bobbie Pullen, Cliff Latham, Donnie Welch, Pat Foster, Cecil Pullen. .-.,1 Mike Welch.
