Covered Dish Supper i
Mrs. Erma Jenkins and Mrs. Edward Clark were joint hostesses | at the covered dish supper held! Monday at Washington Baptist Church. The supper was sponsored by both Flint Hill and Washington .Churches. About 40 members enjoyed the fellowship of the meal! and a movie, “The Footprints of Livingston in Africa.”
Highlighting the evening was te presentation of se wedding cake to Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell who celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary that day.
Mrs. Hettie Sheets, who is a patient in Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisonburg. Mrs. Sheets is the sister of Miss Stevens.
Miss Carolyn Turner left Wednesday for Camp Roslyn, Richmond to be a summer lifeguard.
