2-1. No building or structure which costs five hundred dollars ($600) or mom shall be located, constructed, reconstructed, altered or enlarged without having first obtained a building permit from the Board of Supervisors or its Administrator. 2-2. Permits shall be issued if the application is in order and' the building or structure to be located, erected or altered is in substantial conformity to the existing buildings or structures in the immediate area adjacent to the location of the constitution, reconstruction, alteration or enlargement contemplated by the application. 2-3. Applications for permits, approved or denied by the Administrator may be appealed to the Board of Supervisors. 2- 4. The Board of Supervisors in the consideration of an application for a permit may refer the application to the Planning Commission for study and recommendation. The Planning Commission shall base its recommendation on a determination as bo whether the contemplated building or structure will contribute to the desirable development of the County.
ARTICLE III
Permit Fees 3- 1. Any person making application for a permit shall pay bo the County Treasurer a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for eachlocation, construction, reconstruction, alteration or enlargment in amounts ranging from $500 to $5,000, and a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each location, construction,, reconstruction alteration or enlargment in amounts above $5,000.
