Robert C. Nethers
Robert C. Nethers received his Bachelor of Science degree, in Electrical Engineering on June 10, 1962, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Blacksburg, Va.
During his stay at Tech, he served as Second Lieutenant and Platoon Leader of Company G of the Corps; was Athletic Officer; a member of the Senate; a member of Alpha Phi Omega and of Sigma Delta Psi, in which he served as Secretary-Treasurer; a member of the American Institution of Electrical Engineers and of the German Club, serving as'co-chairman of the Spring Formals in ’62; a member of the Apple Club, serving as its President two years. He also served as the Corps representative on the Intramural Executive Committee.
Mr. Nethers has received his Commission as Second Lieutenant in the U. S. Army and is now taking basic training at Fort Benning, Ga. He is an alumnus of Warren County High School, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Nethers of 498 Hamilton Circle, Front Royal, Va. He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Nethers of Woodville Va.
