Mrs. Ethel Grubbs
Mrs. Ethel Burton Grubbs, 68, of Rockland, Warren County, died in Winchester Memorial Hospital Wednesday, June 6.
She was born 'in Washington, Va., daughter of the late DeWitt Burton and Lizzie Rivercomb Burton. She was a member of the Rockland Community Church.
Surviving Mrs. Grubbs is her husband, James Randolph Grubbs; three daughters, Mrs. George Haymaker of Front Royal, Mrs. Lawrence Orndorff of Winchester and Mrs. Kathleen Bly of Middletown ; one sister, Miss Lottie Burton ol Washington, Va.; 4 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Scott’s Funeral Home, Front Royal, conducted by the Rev. Robert Moore and Rev. Bill Shiley. Interment was in Prospect iH ill Cemetery.
