Daniel E. Campbell, aviation structural mechanic third class, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Campbell of Flint IHill, Va., was advanced to the above rate on, May 16, while serving with Fighter Squadron 41 at the Oceana Naval Air Station, Virginia Beach, Va.
Advancement is the result of passing a fleet-wide competitive examination administered last February.
