Section 12.1. Jt shall be unlawful foe any owner of a motor vehicle, trailer or semi-trailer, to display upon such motor vehuue, trailer or semi-trailer, any Rappahannock County license Wate after the expiration date of such license plate. Violation of w»s Section (12,1) Shall constitute a separate misdemeanor and *» punishable by a fine not exceeding twenty dollars ($20.00).

13. PENALTIES: Any person violating any provision of this Ordinance for which no other penalty is provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not to exceed the sum of Three Hundred ($300.00), and by confinement in jail not to exceed the term of thirty (30) days, either or both; and trial of all violations' of \ wis Ordinance shall be enforced by proceedings before the County Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in the manner and with Uke right of appeal as is provided in misdemeanor cases; and the sheriff and all deputies and police officers of Rappahannock County are hereby authorized to issue summons in writing to violators of this Ordinance for their appearance before said Court. All fines collected from any person, firm, or corporation for violating any provision of this Ordinance, upon conviction thereof, shall be credited to the general fund of the County and deposited by the County Treasurer in the same manner as.that prescribed by other county monies. rm,,8601500 14- IN CASE ANY PART 0F THIS ORDINANCE DECLARED INVALID: If any section, phraae or part of this Ordinance should ,for any reason, be held invalid by a Court oi competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the remainder of the Ordinance, and every remaining section, clause or pari thereof shall continue in full force and effect.

Section 16. REPEAL. All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of their conflict
