Mrs. Mary Wood inquired of ibest control measures for bag worms on her evergreens. A search of our files revealed this insect pest cannot be effectively controlled by insecticides at this season. For now pick off cocoons and burn them. Sprays, DDT, Lead Arsenate, etc. are effective when applied in June.
