Several accidents have occurred in the county in the last few days.

On Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10:40 a.m., two miles west of ISperryville on Rte. 211 a tractor-trailer owned by Moyer Bros, of Luray collided with an automobile. The 1956 Mack truck, driven by Harold Irvin Parlett of Luray, was following another vehicle which slowed for a turn. The truck skidded into the left lane and struck an oncoming vehicle, a 1961 Oldsmobile driven by Kulin Kingrea of Narrows.

H. M. Kingrea and Alma Kingrea, passengers in the car, were taken to Page Memorial Hospital by the Rappahannock Rescue Squad. Alma Kingrea had face injuries and Mr. Kingrea back injuries. Damage was estimated at $700.00 by Trooper W. A. Bun tin.
