W.M.S. Meeting
The fall meeting of the Washington Baptist Women’s Missionary Society held Tuesday, Oct. 9, - marked the beginning of the celebration of the 75th anniversary year of the Women’s Missionary .Union. The meeting was under the leadership of Mrs. D. B. Oox. Goals for the year were discussed.
Three of the members were dressed in costumes of the year 1888 and three in clothes depicting the styles of 1963, showing a marked contrast. The refreshment scheme, which included diamond shaped sandwiches, was carried out in purple and lavender, the colors of the Society.
Four members of the Amiseville Missionary Society were guests at the meeting.
