Miss Mamie Johnson and hpr brother John Johnson of Hagerstown, Md. were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Johnson in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel iXeyser and children of Winchester spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer.

Lee Cornell had as his Sunday guests his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Dwyer of Elkwood.

Mr. and Mrs. James Chesgreen and daughter of Laurel, Maryland spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jenkins. They were joined on Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Jenkins of Washington, D. .C.

Lester Deal, a patient in University of Virginia Hospital where he underwent surfery last week is reported to be doing nicely.

A surprise party was given Mr. and Mrs. Andrew R. Williams of Chester Gap on Sunday, Oct. 14 in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Billy Daniel of Charlottesville, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams of Strasburg, Mickey Williams of Hurdle Mills, N.C., and Miss Judy Williams of Chester Gap, gave the party, honoring their parents.
