Throughout our land Christian Churches are making and preparing church budgets for another year. As we prepare the budget for our "local church and accept our personal responsibility in making the budget a reality, let each one of us remember that tithing is not just a way of financing the church.
Our church budget is Ourselves, Incorporated. We church members have banded ourselves together in a project of extending ourselves into needy places through our church budget.
The * budget • is ourselves or? ganized. Through it we- worfc together to do things which we could never do alone. Homes are reached. The eneiriles of this world who say there is no Cod are pushed back.
The budget is ourselves multiplied. We are able to strengthen churches in our mission givr ing because of th^ provision in our church budget. We are abl6 to minister to spiritually neglected areas in our state and to provide Christian education and homes for orphan children and homes for old people because of our budget.
