Convention at Virginia State College Petersburg. It was announced on the morning of June 14th that the O. R. Johnson Chapter of the George W. Carver Regional High School was rated among the best in the state. It placed fourth among a total of 58 NFA Chapters.
The criteria used in evaluat ing chapters were based on all the activities on the local federation and state level. The activities were as follows: Public Speaking, Talent, Quartetts, Quiz, Soil and Water Management awards, Farm and Home Improvement Awards, Farm Electri fication Awards, Dairy Farm ing Awards, Farm'Mechanics Awards, Modern Farmers, Superior Farmers, H.
