Mrs. J. B. Johnson , Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson were in Madison Saturday to attend the wedding of their grandson Joseph Gordon Payne to Miss Sharon Lynne Mahanes at Walkers Methodist Church. After a northern wedding trip they will be at home in Charlottesville where Mr. Payne is completing work on his master’s degree at the University of Virginia. Capt. and Mrs. A. W. Kagey and children were over-night guests Sunday of Miss Barbara Sw indip r enroute to Martinsville where they will visit Mrs. Kagey’s parents Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Weaver. Mrs. E. W. Gore, Mrs. A. R. Partlow, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown spent from Tuesday to Thursday of last week in Portsmouth Mrs. Henderson also accompanied her son who sang* Joining the family for dinner were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Dennis and family of Culpeper.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Lewis Smith were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Leathers in Etlan.
