AUTO CRASH
VICTIM DIES
Miss Carole Jane Corbin, 21, of Flint Hill, Va., died early Saturday morning, June 22, from injuries sustained in a single car accident which occurred at 11:15 p. m, Friday night. The crash happened 1.7 miles east of Washington, Va. on Route 211. According to authorities, Miss Corbin was a passenger in a 1958 Ford convertible ■ driven by David Allen Jenkins of Sperryville, when he 'ost control of the vehicle, which ran off the right side if the highway and down the ditch, turning end over end before coming to rest on its top in the center of the road. Both occupants were thrown from the car. Miss Corbin sustained a fractured skull and multiple contusions and lacerations of the left leg. She was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital by Flint Hill Rescue Squad, where she died at 2:10 a. m., reported Trooper Paul Dicks. Jenkins received multiple abrasions and cut left ear and was hospitalized for several days. No charges have been preferred, say authorities, pend, ing further investigation. Miss Corbin is the second traffic fatality on Rappahannock highways this year. Less than two weeks ago Carroll M. Sisk of Front Royal was killed in a truck accident near Woodville. Trooper Dicks also reported a two-car accident on Route 231 near Sperryville Saturday night, June 22.

| 231 into E. J. Clarke’s driveway when he was struck by i a 57 Chevrolet owned and operated by Carroll Frye, Jr. of Coral Hills, Md. The Frye vehicle, which hit the car driven by Dodson in the left side, caught fire and was extinguished by Sperryville Fire Company. Both vehicles were reported a total loss by Trooper Dicks. I Dodson and Frye were both taken to Warren Memorial , Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. Frye was treated for lacerations of the chest, abrasions of the right hand and forehead and a broken tooth and released. Dodson remains hospitalized with a separated hip, fractured pelvis and abrasions of the right foot and ankle.
Revival At Huntly
The Willis Chapel Methodist Church at Huntly will hold a Revival July 1 thru July 5. The guest speaker for the Revival will be the Rev. Byron R. Wilkerson of the Linden charge. Services will be each night at 7:30.
