Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Martin were Mr. I and Mrs. Paul Rhoads of Fairfax and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Stover of Warrenton. Wednesday evening supper guests of the Martins were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Martin and son Jeff of Rixeyville. Lester Barnes of Olney, Md., a brother-inlaw of Mrs. Martin was a Monday visitor in the Martin home. Guests Wednesday of Mrs._ Bertha Riley were Morris” Riley and Mrs. Ernest Clatterbuck of Warrenton. Monday Mrs. E. L. Weakley, accompanied by her house guest Mrs. Mills of Arlington, visited Mrs. Riley. Mark and Susan Walker of Culpeper were visitors for several days last week of their grandmother, Mrs. Ethel Cooksey. Mrs. Jennie Smith, Mrs. Nelson Corbin, Mrs. John Poe and Mrs. Hugh Riley spent Thursday in Winchester.
Mrs. F. L. Bowey was a Tuesday visitor of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Smith. Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge and family left Monday to spend two weeks in North Carolina. Melody Kay Green, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green, entered Winchester Memorial Hospital Tuesday for a tonsilectomy. Sightseeing in Harpers Ferry Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Hackley, Michael Curtis, Mr. and Mrs. • Nelson Bruner and their daughter Faye. Mrs.. Florine Smith returned home Sunday after a two week tour to California. Mrs. Charlie Priest and son Robert and Miss Nancy Settle spent Saturday in Washington, D. C. and were luncehon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clements in
