Carole Jane Corbin
Miss Carole Jane Corbin, 21, of Flint Hill, Va. died early Saturday morning, June 22, 1963, in Warren Memorial Hospital, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a daughter of Lewis C. Corbin and Mrs. Sophia M. Mason Corbin, also of Flint Hill, who survive her. Other survivors are two sisters, Miss Shirley Corbin and Mrs. Betty Foster of the same address; and three nephews. A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday from Flint Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. James Grimmer officiating. Interment was in Washington Masonic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Louie Miller, Charlie Smith, Larry Welch, Terry Davis, Wayne Jenkins, Troy Jenkins, Eugene Burke, and Aubrey Smoot. Miss Corbin was employed as a secretary at Rappahannock Manufacturing Company at the time of her death.
Wiley B. Chapman
Wiley Brown Chapman of Arlington, Va., died June 23, 1963, enroute to Arlington Hospital. Mr. Chapman was born March 19, 1911, in Sperryville, Va. His parents, David V. Chapman and Mrs. Grace Brown Chapman, who survive him, reside at Sperryville.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Benson of Florida; a son, Donald Chapman, Arlington; one brother, D. V. Chapman, Jr., Richmond; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Wake of Deltaville. A funeral service was held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper, with the Rev. James B. Grimmer officiating. Interment was in Sperryville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Elmer Estes, Elmer Atkins, Clyde Atkins, Jack Bruce, Harry Trescott, George Hawkins, Robert Estes and Carson Johnson.
