Lockie Lucy Curtis
Mrs. Lockie Lucy Curds for many years a resident of Viewtown, Rappahannock County, Va., and the wife of the late Wilbur Curtis, died at the Arlington Hospital on Saturday, June 22; 1963 after* an illness of about two weeks. For the past several years she has been making her home in Arlington with her daughter, Miss Lillian Curtis: She was the daughter of the late Armistead Scott and the late Cora Bruce Scott of Rappahannock. Besides her daughter she leaves a ' son, Cleo S. Curtis of Fairfax, Va.; two brothers, Mar. shall D. Scott of Washington, D. C., and J. Armistead Scott of Fairfax, Va. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25, 1965 from the Geest Funeral Chapel with Elder Clarence Frazier of the Primitive Baptist Church officiating. Interment was in the Amissville Baptist Cemetery. The pall bearers were Charlie Bruce, Graham Hack^ ley, Milton Smith, Edward Armentrout, Nolan Houghton and Robert Armentrout. The Geest Funeral Parlors of Culpeper were in charge of the service.
