Homecoming At
Willis Chapel Church
The members of the Willis Chapel Methodist Church, Huntly, Virginia wish to extend an invitation to their many friends and neighbors to join them in their Homecoming to be held on the church lawn this coming Sunday, August 4, 1963. Services will begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., followed by morning worship at 11 a.m. with the Reverend A. D. Goodson speaking.Rev. Goodson is the former minister of the church and is now pastor of the Nelson Charge in Lovingston,Virginia. A covered-dish dinner will be held at 1 p.m. followed by an afternoon service beginning at 2:30 p.m. with the Reverend Claude Cook speaking. Rev. Cook is a former resident of Flint Hill, Virginia and is now pastor of the Berryville Methodist Church. Other participants in the services will be the Reverend Fletcher Osborne of Amissville and the Reverend James B. Grimmer, pastor of the Willis Chapel Church.
