Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell of Madison Heights and Louie Miller of Lynchburg were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dicks have returned from a week's visit with friends in Kilington, Vermont and other parts of the state. Their daughter Paula visited the family of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dicks in Baltimore the past week. Mrs. Brue Wood, daughter Miss Frances Wood and mother Mrs. Hadassah Dunn, all of Newport News spent the' week-end with Mr. Wood at Sunny Slope. Dr. and Mrs. T. G. Pullen of Catonsville, Md. spent the week-end at Odds and Ends. Edgar ( Butch ) Browning returned Sunday from a week end at Virginia Beach where he joined fifteen fellow members of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
