- Ott Ellsworth Welch, well known Flint Hill farmer died July 28, 1963 at his home. A native of Rappahannock County, he was horn April 18, 1893, son of the late Albert and Fannie Riley Welch. His wife, Eva Mae Thompson Welch predeceased him. | Mr. Welch is survived by two sons, Julian T. Welch, Hume, and William Preston Welch of Baltimore, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Ora Lee Davis and Mrs. Virginia Mae Diehr, both of Flint Hill; five grandchildren and four great - grandchildren. Also by a brother and a sister Tellas Welch and Mrs. Gussie Welch Grimsley, both of Hamilton. A funeral service was held Tuesday, July 30, at 2 p.m. at the Flint Hill Methodist Church with the Rev. James B. Grimmer officiating. Interment was at the Masonic Cemetery in Washington, Va. Active pallbearers were John R. Moore, Randolph Foster, M. R. Bradford, Jr., Herbert Foster, Emory Russell and Thomas Eastham.
