Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Smith Atkins, Jr., of Sperryville are being congratulated on the birth of a daughter, Wendy Mechelle, born July 6, 1963, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton. The grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Atkins of Sperryville and Mrs. Harold Campbell of Union, W. Va.

Miss Carol Ann Rowzie, a summer student at Madison College, Harrisonburg, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rowzie. Dinner guests Saturday evening of the Rowzies were Rev. and Mrs. John Hodge and children Carolyn and William. Mr. Rowzie and Miss Linda Rowzie spent Friday in Charlottesville. Mrs. Pauline Quinn of Alexandria was a recent visitor in the Rowzie home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Clore of Brightwood were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Stanish Riley. Saturday Mrs. Riley and Mrs. J. L. Walter were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Latham. Foriday Mrs.,Ethel Cooksey and Mrs. J. L. Walter were guests of Mrs. Alice Nelson in Washington, D. C. Mrs. C. M. M, Green and Miss Melody Green were guests from Wednesday until Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. D. D Miller, Jr. andfamily in McLean. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green were dinner guests of the Millers and were accompanied home by Mrs. Green and Melody. This week Mrs. C. M. M. Green is visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. William Britton in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Myers and children Jack and Gregory of North Carolina were visitors during the weekend of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner.
