Mr. and Mrs. R. Miller Armstrong and children of Richmond and Mr. Armstrong’s grandmother, Mrs. Sam Barber spent Wednesday and Thursday at Mrs. Barber's home in town. Mrs. Barber returned to Richmond Friday for an overnight visit before returning to the home of her daughter Mrs. A. R. Armstrong in Williamsburg. Visitors over the week-end of Mrs. R. G. Quaintance were her son and daughterin-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance of Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Burgess and daughter Mary Catherine of Richmond were guests Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson. Mrs. Johnson returned home with them Mrs. Elma Manuel and two daughters of Winchester were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill for the weekend.. - \r‘ r]- . . Miss Lillie and Miss Nellie Johnson were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Butler and family of Arlington were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Butler. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs, Tommy Wayland and Mrs. Edna Wayland of Washington. Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Carter of Front Royal were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston and Mrs. C. E. Carter. Other guests were Mrs. Lee Payne and two daughters. W. J. Marr, Sr. of Vienna, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Marr, Jr. and family of Jacksonville, N. C. and Mrs. C. A. Fincham enjoyed a picnic Thursday on the Skyline Drive.
