Interest To Veterans

All dependent parents of deceased veterans receiving service - connected death compensation payments, as well as living veterans who get extra compensation because of a dependent parent or parents, will receive a special questionnaire in the envelope with their checks due the last of this month. The purpose of this questionnaire is to determine whether the dependents continue to be dependent and still eligible for Veterans Administration benefits. As in the past the questionnaire will be a machine punched card so that it can be processed on electronic equipment. The cards must not be folded, trimmed, or mutilated in any manner. Extreme care must be taken to be sure that all questions are answered with the correct information. The cards must be completed and returned to the VA by the October 31st deadline, otherwise benefits will be cut off.
