Mr*. Newbill Miller Entertains with Coffee
Walter N. Rector of Sperryville celebrated his 95 birthday Sunday. He was honored with a dinner party given by his daughter, Mrs. Perle Coffey, with whom he makes his home. W. N. Rector Celebrates 95th Birthday
Mrs. J. Newbill Miller, Washington, entertained at coffee Monday morning in honor of her house guest,' Miss Karen Dollenmayer of Chicago, 111., who spent Monday and Tuesday with the Miller family. Mrs. Miller and Miss Dollenmayer were school mates at Hollins College. Guests for coffee included Mrs. T. Carlyle Lea, Jr., Mrs. Thomas Eastham, 1 Mrs. Wade H. Massie, III, Mrs. James F. Massie, and Miss Carolyn Gates Turner.
Ellmore Family Returns from Abroad Mr. and Mrs. Joseph F. Ellmore and children,Patty and George, returned last week to the United States from Munich, Germany where they have been making their home. For the past eleven years, the Ellmores have lived in Switzerland, France and most recently in Germany. Mr. Ellmore has been employed by Philco Corp. He is a son of J. E. Ellmore of Amissville, and with his family visited his father and Mrs. Ellmore Saturday.
