In Auto Accident
Last Wednesday afternoon Maybell Smoot of Amissville was injured in an automobile accident on Route 641 near Flint Hill. She was proceeding toward Flint Hill from Rappahannock Manufacturing Co. in a 1956 Plymouth at 4:35 p.m. when she met another car on a curve, ran off the right side of the road on the gravel shoulder, losing control of her vehicle. The car swerved back across the road to the left side and ‘into a deep ditch. She sustained facial injuries and was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital for treatment. The car was a total loss.
